Project Cornerstone

Project Cornerstone is a community initiative, led by YMCA of Silicon Valley, to create an environment where all adults support and value children and teenagers so they grow up to be healthy, caring, and responsible adults. Founded in 1999 by the Youth Alliance, a group of youth-focused nonprofits including YMCA of Santa Clara Valley, Project Cornerstone was structured around the 40 developmental assets established by researchers at the Search Institute in Minneapolis.
