We are pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Guillermo Ramos as the new principal of San Martin/Gwinn.
Mr. Ramos brings over 26 years of experience in education as both a teacher and a school leader. He began his career as a Bilingual Elementary Teacher in the Pajaro Valley Unified School District, and later served as Principal at Hall District Elementary and John J. Montgomery Elementary Schools. For the past six years, Mr. Ramos has served as the Principal of South Valley Middle School, where he has led the district’s middle school Dual Immersion Program with great success.
Mr. Ramos is passionate about providing students with an education that is enriching, exciting, and filled with lifelong learning, much like the one he had growing up in Watsonville.
On a personal note, he shares his life with his wife, Esmeralda, a dedicated first-grade teacher, and their two daughters, Malia and Isabella.
